Yes towels are the secret. Paper towels are the worse has to be new to almost new microfiber. Tried the crumbled newspaper but that doesn't work unless the glass has fine scratches in it then it works great.

Oh, I use invisible glass. Good, but its just glass cleaner. I need some further definition of these orgasmic events you guys are experiencing with your glass cleaning fluids.

Griot's Speedshine with the correct microfiber towel. Towels seem more important.

Agreed, after years of jacking around with various cleaners, what you use for towels is far more important to the results than which cleaner.

Sprayway cleaner is the best I ever used. It’s a foam and it is dirt cheap. It’s streak free and smells awesome too.

Actually 0000 steel wool works very nice on glass. Being from the car restoration world I found this out years ago. It removed stubborn water stains from glass and won’t scratch the glass. Don’t use anything more corse though or it will scratch. Does anyone know the newspaper glass cleaning method?

The 0000 trick is something I've never tried, and while it's something I'll keep in mind for glass that needs a little something extra, I'm not sure I could bring myself to use it on "new" glass...

Are you guys saying you use it on modern glass to clean with???

I wash my car by hand but I take it Delta Sonic for an interior cleaning every so often mainly for the glass cleaning. As an added bonus I get to see and hear them start it up before they pull out of the detail house.

I have used glass fireplace screen cleaner to remove hard water spots. Does it without damaging the glass in any way.

I have gotten 50 year old glass and replacement glass for those cars spotless with it. I don’t see why new glass would be different. I would try in a small spot that is not as visible. Take care on the black edges. Also be careful on windshields as they are different construction than all the other glass. They are laminated. Pretty sure the laminated plastic layer is on the interior.

Anyone ever try the crumpled up newspaper trick instead of towels? You might be surprised.
