Best info out now is ZR1 is Twin turbo version of Z06 5.5 V8, but with 90 Deg crank. Zora supposed to be a step up from ZR1 by adding an electric assist to the front wheels along with the TT V8. The E ray will slot below the Z06, using the base V8 and electric front wheel assist

Interesting....so it's between Z06 and ZR1....yes on twin-turbo but no on losing flat plane crank...FPC would ONLY be on the Z06.....

Simple..secure the ZO6 first..if as you say your @ MSRP..you can always flip as they will be in short supply...move up as subsequent models are released..or keep the variant that moves you...MSRP deals are the key to this maneuver...

I'm not so lucky....my C8 was actually a discount off MSRP..the Z06 will be @ MSRP...(it was stipulated the C8 gets traded back in to the dealer on the Z06 for 2g's less than I paid for it..)...any other C8 transactions after the Z06 will reflect market conditions...no MSRP guarantee after Z06...any MSRP deal on a Z06..will be like gold come June...watch and see..

Me? Still looks like the best ICE will be the hand built NO, Z06. No gimmicks, just a smooth V8 that should run all day. Remember, your Demon still exists for your daily torque tickle.

I wonder more when are they going to convince any of these Oil Giants that putting electric stalls in place at their existing gas stations is the way of the future. Aka cut your profit margins by 50-75%. Wouldn’t you think they should convince them first? I mean as of right now the marketing for electric is basically well if your a well-to-do individual you can charge your car at your home given you own your home and it has a garage where you can install a charging port.. so what about 90 percent of people living in the inner city which is most of the population that don’t have a garage to charge their cars? Are they just shit out of luck? God help them if they have to leave there cars at a stall that has no security or surveillance and they get their car jacked or broken In to…

Point Being most of America has 0 charging network it’s like a novelty at best in current times.

I am leaning this way too...as 71 says the easy button is buy the Z06 and then look at what the ZR1 brings...but if loss of FPC for the Z then my interest goes down (even if its all ICE). The Z06 is as pure as it gets too...no forced induction just balls out NA craziness....

but before i get flamed..i DO love my supercharger and its whine and added power...its just that the 8600 redline/FPC Z06 would fit a new niche in the garage.....and fit/play nicely with the demon and viper...
