That is going to be sweet, (power to weight) more than enough in that rod to get down the road with ease, not to mention its a good match that will align closer with the era. Nice detail especially on generator and carbs. When engine and body get married shoot us a pic of the car with hoods propped open!

I thought about putting my 5.0 in a factory five cobra hardtop about 15 years ago. My 3300 lbs mustang ran low 9's. With the lighter weight, that thing would have been stupid

There was one at Prestige Imports in N. Miami about ten years ago. I talked to one of the salesman about it and he said it was the craziest car that he had ridden or drove that had been on their lot which is full of Exotics. They wanted $55k which is probably a bargain for one now

That was the going rate till about 5 yrs. ago...they steadily have taken increases ..(the top 3 companies)...now a new build for that same car...90+

If someone had the money and time that would be a great do it yourself build. I see some at the local SCCA SOLO autocross events. One is basically set up just for autocross and does well

Well, primarily as insurance against getting the (mere) 16,000-lb. Unimogs stuck again, plus I need to move two containers.
And I also have a habit of ending up being the neighborhood rescue person.

Already asked my neighbor if he wants a different view from his house, since I'd think that the rear 45,000-lb. winch should be able to rotate it a bit for him. At least if using a snatch block or two.
