Thank @DavidKFla !! Still have to figure out launching the car should have been able to get 9.7-9.6 today but I’ll take it for the first time out. And for everyone that doesn’t know they only sell VP race fuel there no ethanol products at all. Real Street should send someone there on the weekends with a trailer to sell e85R jugs they’d make a killing

Drove it down on stockers changed to skinnies in a parking lot about 10 mins from track because I didn’t know what to expect, first time there. It’s actually a pretty decent track in my opinion compared to Cecil the pit area at speed world is awesome tons of spaces, wasn’t even that packed today. Just wish it was cooler out

My problem with them the one and only time I was there they were pulling people up in the staging lane while they were doing burnouts. There isnt much room and I refused to get peppered by rocks. The other issue was we went the day before a no prep shoot out ( didnt know it) and the track sucked. I may try them again someday but I doubt it.

I've been there dozens of times. You can hit a bad day but mostly they're pretty good.

Yep the one lane was not prepped AT ALL and I learned the hard way, thankfully that was my last pass. It wasn’t bad, is Gainesville a lot better? I just wanted to get the car out and see how it was looking for tired of waiting and I tend to take the car apart if it sits for too long lll

Both the lanes at Gainsville are about the same. Prep is alot better this year after the Bradenton crew came over and showed them how to prep, In January we had 3 cats pull the front wheels off the ground. Hopefully the glue shortage is over.

That was the lane that gave me trouble. First 2 passes were in right lane and car just went, back to bsck 9 second passes. Final pass I switched to left lane and spun insane and literally crab walked spinning through the 8th. Had to let off and get back into it

All 3 test and tunes they’ve had so far this year? 😤 I’ll be there when they open back up at the end of March

The track was scrapped and prepped again last week by a pro crew for Sick Week. Took them 2 days.

Dang. They were doing even more prep today too not just cleaning it but not a full track prep like that for sick week. Right lane 100% was hooking. Was great. Really wish I had brought fuel with me. Next time I’ll have cans of e85r, wish I knew someone that would want to go in on a drum

Gainesville has way too many events right now after gator nationals they’ll have t&t again haven’t ran there yet but hoping to regularly
