Unbelievable but this was the only way I could get the filter come pan and filter and bolts what a waste of money on Chrysler’s part in my opinion but it is what it is View attachment 7751 View attachment 7752
Did you try Mopar 68266725AA or AB? This is just the filter, gasket, and pan bolts. Bought two of them in the last couple years.

Here some pics of the pump , I got a call from Eddie at southern hotrod today very nice guy to talk to he suggested checking the pump because they do see issues particularly on the hellcats my pump checked out to be like new which I suspected it would but while it was apart it only made since to check it it has 7 torque to yield bolts that hold it together so be prepared to buy them as well, Eddie told me that they have not found the limits on the pump yet amazing if you aske me because it is a small pump , he also added that though they sell the koleen steels they can’t say if they actually make a difference or not and gave me the impression that he didn’t think so B395F129-749A-49E7-835B-D5B260BB9F7D.jpeg 1C432FE8-E50C-4D8C-AB58-B9CD8DBDBAFC.jpeg F10F2F70-3534-4AFD-A0D0-007461639996.jpeg

Now you have an extra pan in case you bottom out on a big wheelie! Does it have a Hellcat logo on the bottom?

Made some headway with the transmission logging today. There are literally about 90 tables in the transmission that impact shift RPM. I've figured those out. What gets interesting is that when you're in "Drive" and you use the paddles it uses Shift ID 27. When you're in Sport or Track and use paddles it uses Shift ID 49. These are considered "non aggression" shift tables, again RPM only in these. Then it'll take in to account your driving actions and start to choose one of the 25 aggression based shift tables LOL. These are pretty straight forward though and I've only ever seen Sport in the tables listed in Aggression 2 or3 and Track in the Aggression 4 table set.

Now here's where things got interesting for me. I expected to see the shift pressures change based on Drive, Sport, or Track. There's a loggable PID called "clutch shift type". In my testing it stayed in normal except for a blip in Sport where it quickly flipped to "perf" before going back to "normal" again. Even in Track the log shows "normal". I need to do some more testing there.

Finally, for whatever reason my logs get jerky when I log transmission pids. Anyone else have this issue? It's like it's too much data for the bus or something and the RPMs will jump and I think some of the other pids are slow to update. I may need to open a case with HPT on that.

I'm starting to wonder why we couldn't just take the highest value from shift pressure in normal, perf, sport, max, and apply them to all the tables at the WOT areas to insure you always get max shift pressures at WOT.

I also don't see why you couldn't change the "driver type" to one of the more aggressive types and just put that value in for all the types insuring the car always thinks there's a wild man at the wheel and firms up those shifts accordingly. I've never heard of that being done, it's just a theory.

@Speedy do you have data pids for actual pressure and commanded pressure or pressure duty cycle ?

Happy thanksgiving!
How does your car sit compared to how it did on stock springs? Seems like Chargers can sit different than Challengers as well.

Interesting intial results, and yes the MVPI will slow right down and your logs will get janky if your config is loaded up with parameters. I'd surmise there is very little preventing you from making the settings all the same, except where there are issues for expected and delivered torque (red key/black key).

Yep, line pressure desired and line pressure actual are in here.

Black key/red key is actually controlled with the supercharger bypass valve LOL.

Does that look different between the modes ?also it will not be that much of a difference because an extra 5psi can be a lot in most cases

True. But the expected and delivered torque changes with each, which will likely impact things like shift timing and shift pressure in the transmission to compensate.

If I am driving the living shit out of it, all Track Mode, going WOT several times including one for 15 seconds or so every two minutes, and this behavior continues for 15-20 minutes, does it believe I am aggressive, @Speedy! ?

WELL THAT REDEYE DOESNT PRODUCE THAT MUCH POWER SO IT MOST LIKELY SEES IT AS MODERATE DRIVING :ROFLMAO:

It's hard for me to tell in logs as it jumps up with throttle input and varies a lot.

Ha funny. Sometimes the TM must be protecting it because it seems like it still holds back at 3-4 and 4-5 a bit when going up the big straight. We go by that wussy 1/4 mile finish marker going for about a hundred and a half and just grinning bigger and bigger. Don't understand slamming on the brakes there at all.

Possibly uses it for adaptive learning or abuse mode triggers. But, it definitely wants to learn your driving style and pigeon hole you as an asshole on a scale of 0 to 24 - and there is a significant difference between them. Might explain why some Redeye owners feel like they have a dead pedal if they are babying it every where.

[TCM] 30004 - Shift Pattern Situation Mapping: Maps a shifting situation into a driver type count range and a driver type range. Use this to determine what driver types you will end up in for a given shifting situation.

[TCM] 30003 - Shift Pattern Driver Type Mapping: Maps a driver type count into a driver type. Based on a driver counter that goes up with higher accelerations, the driver is slotted into a given type. Limited by the Situation Mapping.

[TCM] 30002 - Shift Pattern Aggression Mapping: Maps a driver type into a driver aggression category. Once a known type is mapped, this will place you into a given aggression category of shift tables.
