Hijacking threads is a way of life here. We call it going sideways. ;)
Nothing more than a disregard for structure...and a total lack of discipline displayed by more than a few on here..I find such abhorrent behavior.. rather disgusting...:(:(:(:(:(;)

My bad. Didn't mean to hijack thread. When Dart is complete, will start a thread if interest is there. Thanks.
I didn’t make a ton of progress on mine, so please feel free to keep us updated with yours.
Mine was project working on the v8 bike. I got my ignition situation straightened out by replacing and relocating the radiator fan… and took it for the first ride since the crash in ‘16. It tried to kill me again when the clutch leaked out and didn’t have enough fluid for me to disengage it… pushed me through some stop signs but made it home. On the next test drive I ran out of gas and had to push the beast 2 blocks home. I found the original manufacturer of the clutch slave, and they were happy to rebuild it for me. He made some improvements after talking to him about it… I was putting too much pressure into the cylinder, and the piston wasn’t designed for that. He redesigned it and sent it back. So far so good.
The manufacturer for the hand controls went out of business, so finding a rebuild kit for it is impossible. I’ll have to replace all of the controls, which means a ton of wiring. All of the wiring on the bike is black, so that’s a lot of tracing to make it work. I also decided to raise the bike up a bit. Had to remove 1 of the 3 Harley softtail shocks to make room for the EFI, and it sits too low now. Next I’ll be raising the front, since it’s sagging, and then I’ll be able to turn much sharper. Lastly, I replaced all of the turn signals…
So it isn’t roadworthy yet, but I got some miles in, found some more stuff to fix, and it’s on the lift for when I’m done with kids sports.
