The cordless ratchet is the tool I've intentionally avoided buying so far. Finding the right combination of size and power/speed has kept me at bay...
Most probably have a variable trigger. My Dewalt does. Never going back to the days without one. So many fasteners just suck your time running them on and off. These tools greatly reduce that.

Check out Project Farm's comparison of them and just get one. Any is better than none.

Come guys it’s really not that bad, getting the coil plugs off is the hardest part. Here’s all the tools needed. Here’s a plug from a plug check at maybe 1000 miles on my engine some years back now when I built it. The same plugs are still in there after 6k or so, pics below and what the chambers, pistons and cylinder walls look like now when checked out a few weeks back getting ready for spring or sale whichever comes first it’s ready!
But this is running pump flex E80-83 and properly tuned. Notice how plug is clocked to face the intake valve, that is not hard to do either and helps cool the plug electrode as it’s not hidden behind the ground strap and facing the cylinder wall where flame propagation has to bounce off the cylinder wall instead of traveling towards the centers of the cylinders. Every little bit helps and every little bit can hurt, I’d rather gamble on the help side! And the plugs at check 2/8/26 is after just putting around on a 11 mile easy ride to test drive the new drive train back on Thanksgiving day, a WOT run will clean up any of that black stuff on them and cylinder head chamber.

I'm surprised those drain plug magnets haven't sucked your plugs right into the oil pan yet. Lol

With them you don't have to worry about dropping a 10mm socket in the engine bay anymore. They'll just get stuck to the block... somewhere... lol.

O I’ve dropped sockets extensions lift rings bolts etc and they most always end up stuck to the oil pan lol.

I broke the red clip on the coil wire plug. Anyone know where I can get one cheap?

You can buy repair plugs from Mopar but they’re like $50, I bought one and the plug lock was different. I had an old wire harness that I scavenged a couple from but sold it to a guy doing a hellcat into an old 440 Fury swap. I’d be in for buying a few if you can find the right one.

Usually the place to find some is a junk yard, but with these cars I'm guessing pretty much everything that hasn't been burnt to a cinder is being repaired.

I have 1 or 2 broke. Like said, those plus are the hardest part of the job. The plugs should attach and stay on, the red clip is just a safety lock

Did you try to unbolts the coil pack and see if you could move it out of the way with the wiring still plugged in? I know it is possible on some. Also with them unbolted you should be able to turn them which should make them easier to unplug. I have pulled out the back driver side coil pack with it still plugged in

So why were you checking them anyway when there's a recall for the dealer to do it for free? I do all of my own work, but when a car is still under warranty and it's staying stock until it's up, I don't touch it.
