    Radiator failure in 19 Redeye

I am actually surprised (pleasantly so) that this doesn't happen more often with the plastic end caps. You say you didn't want to go to dealer because of "other work done on it". You have overdrive lower? Not that that would have done it, others have been running with no problem. Years ago...

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

Like I said, they generally fit eh.. ok. But when I got the flare on the end of the pipes to sit perfectly square and even on the beveled end of the factory exhaust header ( where they were perfectly even all around the flange), they were hitting the floor on the pass side or the tranny cross...

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

PUT HEADER WRAP ON MY STAINLESS PIPES. Pipes are 3" (a little bigger than factory 2 3/4) and are closer to the floor pan at certain locations and tranny cross member (practically touching crossmember). They generally fit ok but not as well as I liked. Had to be persuaded with a pry bar for all...

Stock Fuel Rails, why they don’t keep up

Looks real good. There's so much alcohol even in standard unleaded fuel these days I didn't even think you could "read" plugs anymore. Nowa'days anytime time you pull them they just look clean and uniform gray. Pistons don't even look like they been fired!

Stock Fuel Rails, why they don’t keep up

Seriously, I wouldn't give it a thought. The magnet is recessed/press fit into the bolt. If it ever became dislodged the goddam thing is so powerful it would pull itself to the nearest ferrous metal (ie. the bolt) and wouldn't get swept up into the current and go into the assembly. It would come...

Stock Fuel Rails, why they don’t keep up

Mike is the Hellcat God. He has ties to NASA, laboratories, machine shops, and other really top secret, high tech stuff. He would NEVER let that happen. NEVER. How dare you. HOW DARE YOU! (Yeah.... thought occurred to me.)

Stock Fuel Rails, why they don’t keep up

With that much pull it may be slowing the rotational speed of the crank and rods. Wait...now I have to rethink this. :giggle:

Stock Fuel Rails, why they don’t keep up

Definitely something going here. Mike, you may have a nice little cottage industry going. Fun in the sun before you planned! But remember I was first!......Are they done yet? Are they done yet?:p

    DIRS install

That doesn't help me. I wanted a MAGIC ANSWERE that would solve my problem.:ROFLMAO:. Oh well. Time to get the grinder and the big hammer out!

    DIRS install

I am one of the ones who had a hell of a time lining up the the big bolt. I have a redeye and the cradle has an overlap seam and a weld right where the upper brace mounts. Between the overlap, the weld, and the upper brace gasket the bolt was miss-aligned at least 3/16" of an inch maybe more...

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

Maybe that's why you got an update alert? You went from '15 spoiler to '20 spoiler; maybe they updated the camera? When I swapped out my standard '19 spoiler for the '20 SRT spoiler I got no update alert.

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

I dk if its the camera itself that's better or that its positioned farther out over the deck , but I noticed better visibility also when I changed my spoiler.

    Class Action Law Suit

I have a RE but it's a narrow body. Wonder if it's the RE/Demon drivetrain that gets the 8 ball bearing axels across the board or just the WB. I believe the only difference mechanically is the width of the WB wheels not the axels themselves. Correct? So, I'm hoping I have the 8 bb upgrade and boots.

    Class Action Law Suit

Is that still a problem? I was thinking of lowering mine slightly with maybe a coil cut off each corner. Maybe. I dk I was just thinking about it. Your saying boots still crack? I thought that was fixed.

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

Ever think of driving around with the firewall cowl panel off? Or the brace also? When I did my pulley swap I took everything off to lift the blower, I left the panel and brace off on a test drive. It's gotta help on heat removal and it looks really cool when driving. You can see the blower full...

At what point do you admit you have a problem

Generally very true except the V-max. They could launch. So even though they technically may not be as fast as whatever brand X or model, on the street with non-professional motorcycle racers, they could kick ass.
