I love that look too. But it's old school. I guess it's just not in any more. Nothing looked cooler on tires than when Goodyear and others used to have their logo highlighted on their race slicks, then all manufactures started to do it on their performance street tires. Def set off an American...
It is fairly common. Some of the BMW's have a heavy, hard plastic, spiral wound encasement around engine compartment wiring just for this specific purpose.
Ok, sounds nuts but I've done this and it worked. Take all your other tires (not on car) out of sensor range (at least 50' away). Take off the offending tire and get it at least 50' away. Wait @10 minutes. Bring back and put on car. Drive @15min and at least 5mi. It should pick it up. Believe...
Two things I found most interesting was that the nylon cam chain guide shows no wear (almost unbelievable). And even after the 'shoddy' work on engine, especially the bent cam pin that was obviously forced on there (it wasn't made like that) the car ran fine and went another @170K.
I also get...
It is amazing how many name plates are taken. When I was trying to get my personalized plates a few years ago I had to try literally like 50 names or more before I could come up with a version of the one I want. My sister and niece were helping me pick names and some of the ones they picked were...
If you go with Mopar OEM sensors on the same frequency you should have no problem at all. I've changed rims and tires many times and always used factory OEM sensors with no problem at all. In fact I didn't even have to 'sinc' them. The computer just seamlessly picks them up in a few miles of...
I as a member don't have a problem with this at all. It's not censorship. You can still state your beliefs, you just can't puke them out on every thread, every where, all the time in everyone's face, where people don't care or want to see it. Kinda' like a professional athlete making a...
I literally thought it was self deprecating humor. I thought it was jerk but you were just saying it like j-roy-k. (NO, I in no way think your a jerk but I literally thought that was what it meant)
I was Googling light weight racing seats for my '09 SRT a few years ago and came across a fresh, brand new thread on that very subject. It was on that other site a few years ago. It was live, but I couldn't participate because I wasn't a member. Member 'FunkyChicken' said he had a wiring...
I just installed the AAD lowers on mine and noticed that although the AAD arm is beefy and has a spherical end on one side and a steel bushed end on the other (ie. rigid) the lower bushing on the rear brake spindle was waaay flexing on removing of stock pieces and install of the AAD's. So my...
Stop making sense. Ya' know for a car salesmen you're not fitting the profile of a lowlife shi^ bag. So go back to your Barca lounger and hit the clapper button to make the tv come on and drive around in your Cadillac with Hellcat badges on it.:ROFLMAO:. So wait... I cursed and insulted...
This is why I was happy when @Hunter created the non-political memes thread and thanked him. And then guess what?, it's half political again.
So you never actually lost the motor? I remember that thread awhile back on your rebuild, I don't remember or maybe I just didn't backtrack to read the reasons and I assumed it went south after 20Kmiles and all the 1/4 mile runs. That actually turned me off to the pure E85 tune idea. I was like...
Just caught this thread. Great photo- chop pics!
Absolutely agree. Unfortunately I think the rallye is the hands down winner. If they could only make a 20" version that fit over all the modern brake hardware without looking so goofy I'd buy them in a second!
Totally agree, but talking about going down a rabbit hole, let's not go down that one. We already had a thread on here along time ago on that very thing (I was on your side of the fence on this one). But guys were all up in arms that then.... IT WOULDN'T BE A HELLCAT!
