That car is no light weight. The driver as well looked like no light weight. If he was 100lbs lighter (maybe 150?) it's feasible that car woulda' been knockin' on 10.7's.
Absolutely true. I have spoken of this on another thread. They even have different bolt patterns on some parts, for same engine in same year! It's absolutely crazy. Even from a manufacturing and tooling perspective it doesn't make sense, I don't know how they turn a profit. Some people don't...
I have the B5 Blue and like the pearl coat granite also but that color just looks RIGHT on that car. The black stripes (although kinda' Ford ) look awesome on that thing also. Welcome, and Good Luck!

I get on here and bust balls 'cause I hate Ford's. In reality, yes of course it's a fast and competent car and I know that. But It's NOT a next level sump'n, sump'n. Ok went 9.7 with E85, pulley and tune. A RE wouldn't do that? It's a nice car and Ford finally has a top contender in the ring...
Hot Rod mag had a full breakdown with pics this month. Of course it's the greatest tranny ever type thing but still very interesting. They didn't touch on any shortcomings.
