Could've removed bag of garbage in background. Guess you were busy focusing on 'the car'. Oh yea it's not even centered!. Beautiful car. Congrats.
I didn't know Testors still made little bottles of paint like that, like when I was a kid building model kits.
I actually bought a matching color for my car with a OEM Mopar paint pen. It's lacquer! Thank got the chip was literally just a micro dot. It started to react with the urethane...
I was thinking about this ever since you wrote it and posted the 50HP loss conundrum even while I was cutting the lawn today for hopefully the last time this season. Then I wasn't thinking about it all day and 'boink', I'm watching TV and it pops into my head. It must've been rolling around in...
I'm a year later. If you ever watch documentary on that thing it's mind boggling what they did and the balls they had. Outrun bullets?! Fuselage made with wide gaps that close to zero from air friction heat when plane hits speed? And more. Unbelievable stuff.
Just googled the request code. No big deal. It's just a new Gov't tracking signal retrofitted on all hellcats. LOL. Kidding just kidding......Or am I?
WOW. That is a nice car. I'm not a Porsche guy whatsoever and I know the hardcore "bug eyed" 911 Porsche fans don't even like these models (built on diff platform? I dk like I said not a Porsche guy). But that is the whole package; simple, classy, sporty and pretty.
I don't know if your being funny or not. But that is why I'm not a huge fan of the widebody. Sorry Mike. But they just don't look integrated into the body. Honestly, you don't think this looks better?
Just make sure there's no low flying birds or small kids in the area when you open that thing up. You may create a vortex that starts the beginning of a black hole and the end of all mankind on earth in an unstoppable chain reaction. Just say 'in.
I bought an OPTIMA when they 1st came out to try for my big block Chevy. I could NOT believe the power it had.(and HEAVY). It literally turned that motor like I took the plugs out! I would let it sit in winter and it would still fire the motor right up. It was truly an impressive battery. When...
Hey keep talking. Very interesting. Think others would be interested also. Does that stuff just raise the BTU content of shi %$# gas to normal octane/BTU content?. Or would it benefit better gas also? Is it an octane adder, BTU adder, or cooling effect? Is it added like nitrous on a plate...
Very good and valid points. But the saying goes 'where there's a will there's a way', I say "if someone's making money on it they'll figure it out". The grid will get built just like gas stations. And maybe they'll standardize car batteries and have pre charged batteries at stations you clip in...
I laughed (at myself) when I reread your post. See, I passed right over your well written edjamacated statement. LOL. But I also really meant right now.
Perfect example. Kid at work had a new WRX turbo Subaru. Hopped it up with bigger turbo and intercooler and louder exhaust. Drove it for short...
Totally agree, but what your not putting into the equation is public perspective. In a few years these cars won't even be considered cool probably and people will be throwing rocks at you for driving down the street. Poll's show kids today don't even want to own a car. I couldn't even imagine...
WOW. Very concise and VERY clear. Thank you. It's guys like you who do it 1st that make a decision a whole lot easier for guys like me who decide if and when to make the right decision. Thanks again.
P.S. besides looking bad ass and strong that DS looks like a prop from Star Wars. LOL
IMO no way is this a hoax. 'Back in the day' heavy cars pulled wheelies (LOW rear gears, rpm's, clutch, high stall converts)s with way less horsepower than 700/800 and ran 11's. I saw a guy with a '55 Chevy and 427 pull a SOLID 2ft wheelie and ran 12.01. We talked later and he said it's funny no...
Nice work! What did you have to do to Barton to fit? Grind to clear u-joint coupler? (pics?). No mention of vibration with this driveshaft. Assume all good. Good luck with this setup, hope all comes together for the better when weather permits. Again, (y).
