Yes it would. I can get it for 2.05 gal but if you gotta run 43% more that brings it right to @3.00. The question is , is the perf difference worth the aggravation for a daily driver and how available is it even if you say yes.
I did some reading on fuel years ago (I think HOTROD mag) and don't even remember most of it. It was when E10 was coming online and was going to be the new norm for standard petro at the pump in the country. Even back then they randomly checked a bunch of gas stations in CA and the range was...
Wow. That really is something. 23 degrees timing at 110 degrees heat. SPEEDY said he had his at a conservative 10/11 degrees in heat I'm sure nowhere near 110 and lost the engine on 93 octane gas.
Thanks for the reply. I've just heard a lot info about E85 (don't know how reliable info is) and have never played with it. I've also heard that besides questionable or reliable content, on a long term basis it washes down the cylinder walls and causes excessive wear. The MDS LS motors were...
I had a 31 spline axle 9" with a truetrack that was rated at @650 HP. So I guess your making a little more at the wheel. Lol. You runnin' 35 with a spool?
Ya know it's funny. The more heavily (i.e. more power) you guys get into these cars the more old school they get. TH400 for tranny, race gas or octane boost mixes, 15" slicks, etc. I got rid of my old big block to get into the more modern cars you could just get in and fly, and still handle...
I got a filter mag on mine also. Haven't heard a lot about filter mag's on either site. I used to run one on my big block Chevy and just thought it was a good idea. Don't know if guys just think they're B.S. or they've heard bad things about them.
I had 20x10 with a 23 offset on the front of my SRT and they technically fit and worked but the clearance to the knuckle was less than 1MM. (.082 millimeter when measured). They again worked perfectly and I tried to get them to hit/rub with erratic fast turns and they never did, but...
You cut another killer light and get your 60' into the 1.4's your running with guys in the 9's. Heard it was real hot down south today. I thought news said Virginia got to like 95 today. You running 93 or race gas?
