I run the Manton valve covers as well. Man they make a huge difference!!

What i would try the next time would be to leave the coils plugged in. You just need to move them out of the way to get the plugs out.

Guess one good thing about my Hellcat being a total garage queen is I will never have to deal with the spark plug change nightmare.

Performance aside, MOPAR used to make the plugs easy to change.

Seems like I’m only getting messages from iPhones through Wi-Fi calling as I did not get your message but that would put you first in line if it was 748 you sent it. It will pop up once I have some cell service again. Not much around where we are at at the moment except Crystal Clear water, 30 feet deep and you could see to the bottom. I wish I would’ve brought my GoPro to hook to the snorkel as it’s like swimming in a saltwater reef tank, colorful fish galore, BEAUTIFUL!!

I'm doing plugs, tomorrow.

Last time, it took me 3 hours and I exhausted my curse words.

This time, I'm removing as much shit as I can, before I even think about the plugs. I still have that stupid box, on the passenger side. That's the first thing imma unbolt and move out of the way.

I'll report back, after the job is done.

This time, I know to unbolt the box, from inside the wheel well, unbolt the intercooler reservoir and move the coolant lines.

With all that chit in the way, it's a nightmare.

Should go pretty smooth, this time.

Don’t jinx it. I should have grabbed the valve covers. Was a great deal. But what good are valve covers if a car doesn’t start

Only one cuss word, as I dropped one of the coil pack screws, on the ground. Wasn't necessary, but I hadn't cursed, up to that point. It seemed obligatory.

2.5 hrs.

Removed the insulator box, on the passenger side, to do the job. Then, replaced it. I need to get some thermal wrap, to ditch the box.

Moved the intercooler reservoir, out of the way.

Moved the coolant tank, out of the way.

All on all, it went pretty smooth.

I started from the front of the car, on each side. No need to unplug the connectors from the coils. There's plenty of wire on them.

Not sure how to explain it, but instead of pulling the coils up, or down, to get them out, I rolled them out to the right. They hopped right out. Should have taken pix.

I just left all the coils out, until I was done with swapping the plugs. Then, rolled them back in one at a time. It worked for me. Your mileage may vary.

What's an insulator box?
It’s the plastic box connected to the passenger strut tower that the power cable and front pdc wire harness runs through. It’s a plastic insulation box basically. Thin, rectangularish
