My local track is IHRA I was wondering how long it'd take. good news not long. Does look like they want a license which I figured. I wonder if they will push the Licenses harder now

I doubt it. I ran 9's for many years and never had one. Also never ran a major event so you should be good for tnt. The NMCA Hemi Shootout, you may have to have it there along with jacket and pants, etc. They were saying if you go faster then what you are allowed to run more then once you were disqualified. They gave you one out. So they may be looking for that stuff

Street Rs are DOT as well as most Nittos.

Modern Street Hemi Series just added the roll cage requirement this year. Wondering if he'll change back?

those defeat the whole purpose of having light weight front runners. The new M/T's front runners are lighter

Without a doubt. It seems like they're designed for a street rod. A bunch of people run them.

I just checked the sidewall and they do say DOT.
I had the SR's on my Redeye and they weigh 25 lbs. on my scale.
The ET Street R weighs 17.8 lbs. on my scale.

Well, I have the heavy MT on my ride around skinnies and I have the lightweight non DOT Hoosiers on my PB skinnies. I like the MT ETStreetR fronts but I just don't see myself investing in them at this time. They do look like a damn good compromise between the other two.
