Every single person on this site is smart in some way, in my case it’s like a department store with 15 different departments, some departments open but lights out. Not afraid to admit that.

I agree that E85 is more available than 100 octane, but the thing about E85 that bothers me is that you always should be checking, I know a sensor would be reading it and controlling the tune, but then horsepower is compromised. I too am surprised they would bring a final "bang" car to the market and have it be alternative fuel like E85, lots of old school guys would complain. I agree it may need to go there and we have probably approached the limits of premium unleaded. I love how my stock redeye performs on lowly premium unleaded, it made 753rwhp/712rwtq in 5th gear on it. I also still have my extended warranty and a friendly dealer :)
Thank you...this is sort of my point...

if a stock tune redeye is doing this...

I love how my stock redeye performs on lowly premium unleaded, it made 753rwhp/712rwtq in 5th gear on it.

Redeye Math: 753 RW = 857HP at the crank
(assuming a conservative 12% drive train loss)

And a 100 octane stock demon is doing this...

https://www.hellcat.org/threads/i-tested-boostane-on-my-demon-crazy-results.173529/page-3

Demon Math 794 RW = 902HP crank

So what the point of a 909 E85 Final Edition car ?

Unless its 1000HP release I won't be impressed (or interested)!

Nothing here. I think there's 1 about 10-15 miles away. I heard that it's not a quality fuel.
I don't have easy access to 100 octne OR E85

"Guess I win."

(Boostane...when 100 is needed...is proven and readily available though, so I'm good)

I have followed Demononlogy for years now. According to him (and others) the worst "effect" has been a light Grey (normal) vs light orange residue using Boostane. Not sure that's a meaningful negative side effect.

For performance and convenience, he swears by it, and honestly that's good enough for me given how many passes he's had on his Demon. When I have run my car I used it and haven't seen any orange residue at all on the plugs. To be fair though, I've made a small fraction of the passes he has made and I'm at 5500ft so 3-4 oz a tankful is all it takes to "trigger" the HP tune.

I've never used it. Went straight to 100 race gas and my car really came alive.

Demonology used Boostane about 3 times. Look at @16GoManGoHC2 posts on what his valves looked like. Orange residue wouldn't bother me but those valves were caked up.

Rather doubt king of idiots, you have one hell of a nice line up of rides, cars, and bikes. I would call that smart and living life on your terms. We all do dumb shit sometimes.

Yeah well for 2 freakin days...I had that fob in my hand with the key on it...I really thought it was just a trunk key...

I've always lived life on my terms...and @ this point in time the only person that gets to tell me what to do...is my 93 yr. old mother..and she never lets me forget that..;);)
