So which relay did you pull out of the car that you thought was going to protect the vehicle, that they conveniently had with them, and then proceeded to troubleshoot and install?
Not sure why you're blaming the victim of a crime.

Why would that matter? They don’t even need to bring a relay, just pull the one next to it like high beams and put in its spot. Starter relay also just needs a jump between 2 spots for a second, no need for a relay. They all know this and to reconnect the red wires at the pts.
This is so good, they are reading this good info if they did not know it yet. Might as well throw all the remote relays in the fuckin trash now.

They all literally know it already and yes, throw out those worthless remote relays that they remove anyway and does nothing to stop them from making a key and driving away. Anything else?

They tried to steal a friend of mine's Trackhawk. He has IGLA so they couldn't. Broken window and took a tool and wrote "F$&K IGLA" across the hood.

What are you saying. Just say it
So that other people know what doesn’t work to protect their vehicle. The OP thought he was safe, wouldn’t think your run of the mill scumbag could troubleshoot a no-crank condition, pop the hood, and diagnose it in the driveway.
It’s almost like a dummy relay in its place would have been better than no relay at all?

It matters because some people (myself & the OP included) would think that would be preventative enough? Is that hard to imagine?

Clearly I’m blaming the guy for taking steps to prevent the theft of his vehicle only to be outsmarted in the end. I’m not asking about specifics to help understand to what length the thieves are actually willing to go. He definitely baited them.

I misunderstood the meaning behind your question. I apologize. The way it was worded sounded like you doubted they would go through all of that to get the car

The RFlockout is effective. They know about that, but hard to beat. We watched them from an office window. They attempted to clone a key for my Durango in Aurora, CO.

Its only effective to those that don’t know how to get around it. There are a few ways but won’t go into that here. They also weren’t trying to clone your key, you can’t stop that unless you remove the fob battery. They were deleting and making a key, totally different. IGLA block all forms of electronic theft and you can still put in service mode and make a key.

It is in no way effective at all especially when it blocks nothing. Even if you fooled that 14 year old, you will have no working keys
