You guys are lucky to have E85 pumps. This is what i have to do it have E available to me. It is over an hour and a half to the closest E 85 pump and you never know what you’re getting from them IMG_6234.jpeg

I try to fill mine up at 1/4 tank. Anything below that and it's likely to run out before I can get to the station on E85 lol.
Every time I have drove the car around trying to run it empty has been tough. Jon and I were driving around blocks by his house trying to run the e85 out before winter and seemed to never end. I'm going to get a fitting for the fuel rails so I can empty it at the house

I normally try to fill by 1/4 tank. Sometimes it is just timing and I only pay cash when I get gas so I try to figure out how many gallons I need to fill it

Weird, once mine hits 1/4 tank I have about 30 miles or I'm on the side of the road calling Mrs. Speedy for a rescue. It's happened lol.
Also probably getting better gas mileage in the last 30 miles when the low fuel comes on because you are not driving it hard. One year driving my 13 Mustang to Bowling green I filled up in Auburn, IN and miles to empty showed close, actually I was short. After it kept recalculating made it with fuel to spare. With a roush blower, I averaged 27 mpg

I'm not sure if Jon has checked other rods yet, but if it was horse power related I'd expect more bent ones. Going lean generates a lot of heat and the piston can seize, break ring lands, etc and with one piston / rod destroyed that's what it looks like at least on the surface. Jon says he had pumps failing likely a result of the BAP use over time. Seen that more than once and it's kind of a bad deal because the pump doesn't just fail, it just gets weak which is a worse case scenario.

I think I saw it was cylinder 2 and another forum member had the same failure. The front cylinders are farthest from the fuel line, so could be a variable. As fuel pressure starts to not keep up those could be the first to go lean. The logs/sensors are aggregate across all 4 cylinders on each bank so some cylinders could be more lean than others.

@vortecd you getting rid of the BAP?

Prior stress and a cracked rod that propagated over time and finally gave up the ghost. Hoping to view some parts in the near future for inspection and comparison to Hellcat parts. He’ll have a strong ass motor for fall, @Hatermkr builds good stuff!! you guys better look out now!!

Well, I think we all have to go thru that when wanting to run One Ethanol. I have a couple myself but by the grace of God they just put an E85 pump exactly 20 minutes from my house here in CT. I officially live in Tennessee where they have an E85 pump in town its nutz!

But lets face it when running One Etrhanol ur making POWER and my gas mileage is somewhere around 9 mpg at 1500 hp so its not like I can go very far anyway lol. One Ethanol is for grudge racing for me. $15 a gallon to drive around gets lame really fast.

The fact is there just isnt that much more power gained with the better E85. I have seperate tunes for them so yea u make more power but it doesnt justify $15 a gallon vs. $3.45 lol.

Nice! Wow 27 mpg is absolutely bonkers bro! I had a 2012 with a TVS that I put in the woods lol. Dont do burn-out with radial tires lol. Then I got a 2013 which was SOOOOOO much better with LED brakes and lights. I remember how I use to think how much more modern looking my 2013 was vs. my 2012 and now I just LOL when I get in it thinking its anything but modern looking inside......:ROFLMAO: Its quite dated no doubt but light years ahead of the 2012 lol.

Its got a CPR Turbo kit with a 91mm on it now that I just got from Jose at Forced Induction...... Jose at FI is the Turbo used for all CPR Turbo kits. Standard is the 76mm. Its a sleeved Pro Mod from MMR with a Brett Lasala all billet 6r80 with a Fore Triple and a sheet metal intake from MMR.

Its getting towed tomorrow to the shop to actually get a new 66mm wastegate welded on. It gets tuned in a couple weeks by Lund or PBD. I used PBD last time with an 85mm and made 975/880 whp/TQ on 93 octane at 18 lbs. Its flipping fast!

It only weighs 3400 lbs its quite light which is another great thing about the S197 vs. the S550. I think right off the bat there is a 250 lbs increase. Put on lightweight rotors, CF DS, Rear seat delete, lightweight battery, lightweight wheels and Optic Armor lightweight windows in last year with a bunch of CF.

Hoping for 1100 whp on 93 octane and 1400 whp on E85. I made one pull at 19 lbs with E85 and my 3rd fuel pump wasnt coming on so had to abort. It made 1060 whp at 19 lbs. so the 91mm which is (5) years newer btw should be good for quite a bit more power im hoping.

I ran up against an Aprila MC a couple day ago in my Redeye Challenger which makes 880 whp. Pretty quick but I will say I never lost to a MC in my Turbo Mustang. Not saying there arent faster bikes lol I know there surely are BUT..... never lost to a bike on the Stang but wow IDN which Aprila this dude was on but it was flipping fast AF. I needed another 200 hp to stay with him no lie he pulled that hard away from me I was not a happy camper :mad::rolleyes::giggle:. It looksed half naked so I was like this thing aint gonna be that fast and wow I stuck my foot in my mouth cause he roasted me.

I drove up after and gave him the big thumbs up I was like WTF is that thing its fast! I want a re-match in a couple weeks tho... with my Mustang.:ROFLMAO:

This has happened before, rod broke just cruising a long. Most public occurrence was a guy named "Family Cruizin'" on YT. Dealer swapped motors and car burned to the ground about a week later, turned in to a big online fight, that eventually led to his arrest and the demise of his surprisingly poplar channel.

should be back on cradle in the next day. Had to have push rods made. Trevor at Manton push rods. Had them made and shipped in hours for us. And hooked up on the cost.
