I guess I’m curious as to how quick these cars can go with stock motor and blower without adding nitrous basic pulley set ups and either race gas or ethanol

There's quite a bit more to the trans tuning than just torque management.

Low 9s seem to be pretty common blower only without getting too crazy. Couple of ouliers in the 8s but it's rare without a spritz of happy happy LOL.

The fastest 2.4 (stock HC) blower only is the UnicornPiss Challenger run by Sumit. He just went 8.99. The fastest aftermarket blower only is the 4.5 Whipple Charger run by Zhc who just went 8.81. Those are street cars. Of coarse the Epling car can go faster on blower only but that’s another thing.

I need to work on my car so bad that I’m replacing the bearings on my 3.09 differential, I’m having withdrawals waiting for transmission parts

The stock HP90 A8 trans is pretty stout. I raced my old setup for nearly 3 years, made 50+ passes on a 2.50 upper + lower pulley combo, hundreds more on less aggressive combos, and it continued to perform well.

All is needed is the right amount of caressing and they can usually last a while.

Screw cradle bushing work I pay my tech to do the hard stuff I only do the fun stuff 😂😂

I checked the e clutch in mine right now and it measures 110in as you can see the after run in should be a maximum of 89 makes you wonder how close ZF ACTUALLY CHECKS THEM BECAUSE TGERE ISNT ANY CLUTCH MATERIAL MISSING IN MINE TEY WERE JUST GLAZED OVER 🤔

Apparently they were lazy the day they built mine but even with that clearance it never logged a fault code or went into limp mode
