What do you mean "final revisions". Do you mean motor electronics that need to be tweaked to sync with computer? That's my biggest fear with the aftermarket throttle bodies. I would love to run a 105 on the Redeye when I start getting into the motor but I know a few years ago the early BBK's...
Truly disturbing. I would say that's the mechanical equivalent of a 90% clogged aorta artery and walking around unknowingly until you get hit with a massive and it's lights out, for good. What if you didn't want to upgrade front tires at this point for another top end run?
Blown motor, tranny...
Agree. Only reason FCA is Pennzoil, is because they screwed Mobil on the bankruptcy a few years ago when they came out of it. I actually read that on here, posted by @Speedy! I think, not sure. So suddenly now the oil that was good for SRT for years is not up to standard?
Glad to see this old thread still has some life! What I meant was, why doesn't it matter to the guys (and gals) who are into the high perf racing scene and building engines. You NEVER see this brought up in a motor conversation anymore or a racing thread or a build thread.(unless it's a...
I was using mother's ceramic for awhile on my previous SRT before the redeye. I would wash and dry car then apply and wipe. I was very happy with it. I didn't believe you could just wash the car, spray something on then let it do it's thing and 'presto' you're done. But then my nephew started...
Hick, I shot Imron also. Catalyst can cause brain damage if you don't have an inside air system (looks like we both didn't use one.). I'm no expert and I'm not a body man by trade, but I've shot a few cars. Humidity causes haze in paint, not fish eye. Oil, wax, and a multitude of plain old...
Excellent! Good reference and quick check chart. Helps put perspective on things, esp since I only speak AFR fluently. Taking a pick to save on phone then a copy and paste on computer. Thanks. (y)
Yea Dave that's why he gave up the M6. Couldn't handle the pressure.:p. Oh wait a minute I gave up my M6 too.. And I aint never been down a track!
They sell an in house brand of their own design and I heard recently they got some Demon OEM's left for stupid money, like 800 or more, and 200+ shipping. Have not looked myself.
Yea, I kinda' lucked out with that. I ordered it from a local dealer and got it right away. I ordered the last one out the door I think from the manufacturer. I'm hearing guys can't get these now for nothi'n.
Looks fine to me. The only problem is the floor space. That's why I hung open shelving around the top perimeter of the garage. Kept the floor space open. Doesn't look as neat open, but I built them myself, extra heavy duty and they can literally hold up to 400/500 lbs. safely so I can put...
Don't know whether to give this a thumbs up or not.?!. Don't want the 'What did you do to your Hellcat today' Forum to become another C8 thread. :p. And @Hunter. Delete, delete, delete and another 30 days in the hole for IGNORING the cats!
PUT THE BACKSEAT DELETE IN THE REDEYE. Bought a rear seat delete last year and put it in my blown '09 SRT8. Took it out when I bought the redeye and stored it. Transferred today.
Most of these guys are saying the performance diff is negligible between true E75 and E85 so maybe the 1-3% variation on the tube is nothing to worry about? Still would like it to be accurate though.
And yea, I'd like to see those "worms" too. interesting.
I agree with the premise of buying a real creampuff for a few grand more (at this level of car). I mean, 3k! If it's a clean Carfax all down the line, a C7 is a lotta' car for that money, even if you could do better at 7, 12 or 20k miles. But @EricG did make a valid point. A lot will be hitting...
