Thanks a ton John. I didn't realize you were going to check the actual axles on the car. I thought you were gonna look up some info you had. LOL. You didn't have to do that. I am just baffled that nothing comes up on google on that number. Also can't find a definitive measurement on axle diameter.
Take it easy Francis. We're bustin' balls in good fun and all those problems you mentioned were after the Demon and Hellcats had the snot beat out of them for months , sometimes years. This kid made one pass on tires and the tranny overheated and the computer shut the car down. That's pretty...
I still find it very hard to find info on Mopar in general (at least info that is pertinent to or interests me. LOL). I'm sure this has been gone over many times on both sites but I couldn't get a part number or a real world dimension on searches so I jacked the RE today and measured the rear...
Notice the same on mine when I lift it. I've posted about that before (can't remember, hear or the other place). I'm surprised how many still feel need to brace and gusset. I guess every bit helps especially in road racing.
Actually thought that was a good article. Yes it could be true for any new vehicle, but the point was now it's the big bad Hellcat getting "handed down" to these potentially more irresponsible (i.e. younger and less monetarily invested) 3rd party's.
Hope it's true. I need to sell my supercharged...
Ok, gave you accolade's for posting vid's and sharing info but now I have a bit of a rant. What company would knowingly produce the Pinto? Who would design a car whose trunk floor is the gas tank?(Mustang, Falcon). On top of that, everyone tout's the original GT40 (and on it's own merit I love...
Oh definitely, that's already been established in one of @motorhead 's threads awhile back on his car. Just as much as possible on new car. No sunroof, boom box etc. PLUS the fact that they're know to go @4450-4550 and mine weighed out at 4280 (no mods) I thought was surprising
I didn't know any SRT Challengers came with a spare. I thought only the pump/goop kit. But I did hear that 300 SRT's came with spares. Hope that works . Definitely a deeper offset in the rim.
Agreed with your post but that's not meant to irritate Charger owner's. To each his own. If you like that car, all well and good. But to me that car in NO way resembles or is an "omage" to the original like the Challenger is to the original. If Mopar just named it something else, something new...
Thanks for the follow up.
I was contemplating buying a 3MM spacer but it's just more hardware clanking around in trunk and one more piece to deal with during breakdown.(But it's a much cheaper option for me since I already have the spare, so that might be the outcome). I'd much rather have the...
