That a next project? Investment? Or did you just roll up on that thing in someone's driveway with the door open. Lol.
I didn't even know/think the wing was an option for Dodge. Thought it was strictly a Cuda thing.
Same reason I put the Dana 60 in my Big block '57 Chevy. But then I couldn't get the gears I wanted with the Doug Nash 5spd . With the Doug Nash (3:27 1st) I wanted a 2.75 or 3.0 final rear gear. All you can get with Dana 60 was 3:55. So I put a Ford 9" in it anyway. It's like Mark W said...
I believe Cole3986 mentioned this also on another thread, that's why he prefers the G force components. You guys (And OP also) are hardcore track guys so you would know the DL on this kind of info. That's why these forums are invaluable.
Thank You.
Absolutely. Sometimes you can't put a price on aggravation or reliability or quality for that matter. For you guys that are putting that kind of power down repeatedly I'm sure it's. That's why a professional mechanic will go with Snap-on or Matco and I still have my Craftsman.
I must be getting old (Sticker Shock!) That is a very beautiful and beefy looking piece, but I thought in the neighborhood of 3.5/4K . Under 10? That means just under 10 I'm guessing. It's gotta have a lot more mass and moving parts for that. You can get a tranny or 426 Long block for @ the...
That is truly impressive. What boost does the 2.4 make with stock lower pulley. And BTW that is pretty quiet for no mid pipe cats. Very nice. I've seen unblown cars with none that were just obnoxious. E85 correct?
That looks like a slick item. Just don't like the 10 sec. fast forward YouTube vid. It's like yup here it is "Ta -day". Show a little more on how it's like to get car on,and nuts and bolts of actually doing it in more live time. Just seems like someone's hiding something when they gloss over...
Just rang the bell on some of my fav's. If I wasn't 3000 mi away I'd do it! Not big on junk food (fast food , cake, chips) but BIG on good food and drink. It'd be cheaper if you paid some one. LOL.
Love it out there. Used to go a lot more before we got a dog and a mortgage. Stayed at a winery B and B for the weekend this May with my wife. (Sannino in Cutchogue.) A little pricey but beautiful and picturesque. It was like an Italian villa. And breakfast served in room. Also love the Briemere...
Cars are beautiful. I'm a sucker for the B5 blue (What a surprise I'm coolblue, get it. Lol). Where's the beach shot; Captree? Keep it away from the salt spray!. I power wash under my car when I cruise down there!(which isn't a lot) Did I say I'm OCD. Lol.
These cars use the same basic components as your regular Challenger/Charger/300. The way a corporation looks at it the component is gonna be worn out and thrown out/replaced before it rots threw or gets structurally weak, so why spend the $ on paint (or god forbid cadmium/galvanized plating)...
That's very true and I thought about that, but they(dealers) get credit doing volume also and it goes a long way and helps with leverage on new inventory. I never knew that until I bought my truck. Practically stole it. I couldn't understand why everything I said, the salesman just said yes and...
Lowly M6? Mine's an M6 and only made 527RWHP on a 8.l.b. kit and dead stock engine.(looking into some mods now). I bought it 3y.r.s ago with 5000miles on it cause it WAS an M6.(bangin gears is fun). I got lucky, install went good and car tuned up and is as reliable as a stone. (but a little...
