Also, does not support Apple music format generated by iTunes.

Basically, just go with MP3 and forget about audiophile level playback on the 09 and your current system. LOL

...

Well that just threw a wrench in the cogs, itunes is where I got all, or most the music. About 15 percent of it plays, somehow..Being uneducated in this arena I have no idea where to go to get Hendrix, Zep and all that in MP3 that I already paid for once. I would think there is a converter for dummies out there somewhere, maybe not

I have to re write my last post I deleted. I should have said, without many, or any options left, I will just have to start jamming to elevator music up here in the sticks..
