Well that just threw a wrench in the cogs, itunes is where I got all, or most the music. About 15 percent of it plays, somehow..Being uneducated in this arena I have no idea where to go to get Hendrix, Zep and all that in MP3 that I already paid for once. I would think there is a converter for dummies out there somewhere, maybe not

I have itunes on a windows 11 laptop where i get most of the old rock from. I know apple and windows do not play well together. Then I load up the USB from the laptop. Thanks

Try downloading an app called Media Monkey. It plays well with Apple products, on Windoze and virtually replaces all iTunes functionality. It has a much better UI and is a native Windoze app.

You cam also use it as a media server and sync to it, via wifi. There is also an Android companion player that will sync, as well. The Gold version gives you lifetime updates. The demo is full functioning.

Best of all, you can convert music to MP3 and other formats, quite simply, from within the UI. You can import tracks to the library, or rip straight off a cd, or other connected media source.

Not affiliated with MM, just REALLY enjoy it replacing shitty iTunes, on my devices.

Thanks everyone, now while i have you guys here, my 09 SRT will not play but a very few songs on the USB, i think it skips M4A and maybe MP4 so what is a good reliable inexpensive or better yet free converter that is safe to use (virus free) that will convert that stuff to a friendly format for the 09 ? Forger VLC, no matter what I do with that it is useless for converting anything. Thanks

It only plays mp3 and wma files.
