Him wearing a Demon shirt may have been a subtle hint of how he really feels about the whole thing?

I think a big hurdle for the EVs and folks like us is the stereotype (right or wrong) that they have at this point. The ones I see are driven by skinny jean wearing hipster snow flakes and that for sure ain't me and not something I wanna be associated with AT ALL. I came up in a time when the car you drive is an extension of your personality.
You didn't get the nod for good reason. You're too honest and have too much integrity. Stellantis needed an unprincipled CDM.

I think they're going to try to break away from that hipster stereotype I mentioned earlier. I'm sure they have a large market research team for products, I mean I would, but that is going to be a big hill to climb considering their past product offerings like Hellcat. I think they'd have more success by offering both and giving customers a choice for as long as possible and a hybrid would have been a great way to bridge the gap and honestly make most people happy I think.

I have to look at myself in the mirror every day and I want to have a reputation of being transparent. I think the CDM thing probably started off with good intention back in 2019 when the idea was conceived. Then COVID put it all on hold, Stellantis bought Dodge, and now it's electric cars. It went from a brand ambassador, which I would have been super interested in, to someone they want to promote the transition to electric cars which I'm not at all interested in. I've mentioned before they asked about how I felt about the electric car program several times and I was honest with my answers, while obviously being professional. My candid feedback was that they should have an electric car to have an offering in that segment, but replacing cars like Hellcat with an electric car wasn't a good idea. When they asked me if the $150K would impact my career decisions, I told them "no, I'll do it for free". That was before I realized what was going on though.

The Dodge folks at CDM kept mentioning the desire to work with all of us in other capacities. However, I've not heard a word from them, never heard back when I asked for some swag for ChallengerFest, and I don't think anyone else has heard form them either. They're only about 1/3 of the through the year, so maybe we'll hear from them.

PS Apparently, Preston the Donut King knows what's coming re: FE Hellcat...
Something is not adding up.

In that video, Tim says the 'flip' to full BEV is going to depend on meeting price points and "you have to have the infrastructure place" and the industry as a whole will only be 50% full BEV by 2030.

Base Charger SXT (for the masses) is $32.5K, Are they going to market a full BEV-only Charger around that price AND can recharge in 5 minutes with a 400-500 mile range?

The only way no more ICE Charger/Challenger by 2024 is if the new ICE cars have new names. Cuda and Coronet/Monaco/Polara? LOL

If there is one thing Dodge has going for it, its their marketing department.
Well, maybe not for the Viper. Then again that was SRT until 2015.

How many people out there would trade their current gas powered sports/muscle car for an identical version of their car, with the exception of it being an EV with an extra 100hp? Of car enthusiasts, what % of owners mod to the extent of voiding warranty vs owners that do not?

The modding community, like myself, would pass I think. That said, most people that buy mustangs, camaros, Challengers, etc keep them stock, with maybe the exception of some visual mods and minor shit that doesn't affect their precious warranty. How many from that camp would jump ship for that extra 100hp?
