What did you do to your Hellcat today?

Put on a catch can and breather. YAWWWWN, I know. But wait.... there's more. Lol. First, I will say the UPR is more money but it is quality all the way and extremely well made. And I'm not easy to impress. BUT, it's not all rosy. Lines did not fit to my liking, were too bulky, and WAY overkill...

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

Removed all blaring, blinking, loud, obnoxious, and foolish looking interior warning stickers (5 total). Oh well, now no-one will ever know to not to glue themselves to the dashboard because in case of accident an exploding bag is going to come out of it like a grenade. They will also not know...

    What's next....I need a better 60'

Glad they're working out for you. Some suspension mods may be my next mod instead of getting into motor, dk yet. But I cant believe you're even thinking about the Auturos for a comparison check after the way they chunked out all that rubber and failed internally on you.

Took some pics of my girl with another girl. She didn't seem to mind.

Your thoughts on a 70 Challenger R/T Hemi

Cool but would be suspicious as to why so much was swapped out on a "virgin" 800 mi motor. Cam, lifters, chain, bearings?. If motor was disassembled at a machine shop it would just need a clean and reassemble. At 800 miles the cross hatch would still be on cylinder walls. Still a very nice piece.

The 555's must have some grip. Rolling resistance is all I can think of. But 3-4mph in the 1/4 is quite a bit.

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

Here's some pics and some specs from "that other site". You should have a small inch pounds/ newton meter 1/4" drive torque wrench for the 7ft. lb. torx head bolts to be more accurate, and a 3/8" drive for the 22ft. lb. bolts. Basically you do all small T30 torx heads first to 7 l.bs, in...

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

RE-TORQUED ALL BLOWER BOLTS. My cars got 1051 miles on it, that's it. All I can say is I re-torqued all 31 bolts (21 T-30 torx heads and 10 10MM hex heads). Except the top 5 bolts (the long T30 bolts) at the very top of the blower....ALL MOVED. The smaller T30 torx moved about 1/16 to 3/16 of...

    New drag car from dodge

I actually took my hellcat "redeye" emblems off the fenders at 6 mo. of ownership. If RE stood for "Road Edition" it would make more sense to me and be more palatable. Also IMHO it would make more sense. Being the Demon was obviously the "Drag" edition of the Hellcat, the Redeye is basically a...

Octanium Unleaded the real deal or stick with 100 octane fuel?

Many of those reasons are why I stepped away from my '57 Chevy after 26yrs. Although looks are subjective, the driving experience is no comparison.

Your thoughts on a 70 Challenger R/T Hemi

Def agree with this. Prices are definitely down on premium muscle cars last couple of years. I would even say as low as $130- 160K Ask is the ask. What people pay are two different things. If these cars aren't pulling that money at Barret Jackson (Premium selling platform with affluent...

Octanium Unleaded the real deal or stick with 100 octane fuel?

Does anyone know when the switch to full summertime gas takes affect. My car seemed to be running better than usual this weekend with a fresh batch of Mobil 93. Maybe that has something to do with the cars performing even in the warmer weather?

    New drag car from dodge

100 RPM shift point difference, 18 inch wheels. "Game changer"? What a joke. I bring my car to AJ Hemituner to be optimized and I'm ahead on all counts. This is truly embarrassing for Dodge and for us as enthusiasts. I'm happy with the platform (Hey, that's why I bought one last year on an...

Octanium Unleaded the real deal or stick with 100 octane fuel?

I believe this to be true regardless of the track usage element. I got a cat code a few weeks ago that went away when I switched to black key,(I never run on black key) and hasn't come back since, even in full time red key mode. I had been driving with paddles prior and holding gears up and down...
