Got it. But what I'm saying is ,what is the significance of the WIKI post? Is it a post, like 'Hey solution to a problem' or 'got an answer for that' type post rather than 'hey look what I did' or 'did you hear this?' type thing. Just wondering. It doesn't seem to get many hits or action.
Clue me in. What is the significance of the WIKI POST and where do you access it? I'll step on my own dick for the benefit of education and show my ignorance. What's up with that?
Thanks fella's.
Damn Bull, some ingenuity and hell of a nice setup for home test. I did not even know you had these, just thought you were following with interest. I thought you were on factory slingshots at all times. So are these the ones you took to 174mph in Colorado?
FOLLOW UP ON THIS THREAD. Well I took the HR's and my Nitto NTO5's to get mounted and balanced this weekend. Good news, my guy said they are pin strait and did not take a lot to balance, even with the meaty 315's. So I'm happy with that. When I got home and mounted, they are close but no rubbing...
This is a little bit of a lengthy thread but I think it's important because these kits are not cheap (and hard to come by) and will definitely help someone out when they have to do service or just remove the seat for ANY reason.
Ok, let me say I had this kit in my '09 Challenger 1st. Then...
Put in DEMON REAR SEAT DELETE BASE. Thanks to members on here alerting me you could order certain pieces of the delete kit separately, I ordered a Demon delete base (Yes, now I have the really cool wheelie / smoke'm / race car pic every kid wants in his rear seat delete kit.). I also...
Yep. Today it's almost expected. Cant believe how slip shod everything is everywhere these days. It's almost expected with at least half the stuff you do now that something will be amiss with the order, the parts,...something. Don't want to be a downer or sound like an old codger but it's true...
Well I called PK yesterday during lunch. I was told 'German spun forged' is a fancy way of saying rotary forged but that's a copyrighted term so they can't say that. Was also told they were NOT D.O.T. certified, but a lot of aftermarket wheels aren't. It would be to time consuming and expensive...
I just received my HR5's and was excited to open the boxes and see them. But when I saw the country of manufacture was very surprised and disappointed. They look fine, and received no damage in shipping (That I can see). I just had a bad experience with a set of Factory reproductions F77's where...
Not to keep getting off topic, sorry OP but in my experiences when dealing with aftermarket replacement/perf parts always look there first. Good luck with finding and diagnosis.
After I had my 6.1 with the Magnuson tuned by AJ he set it at 6200 to be safe with that motor. I used to bounce off it constantly with the M6 until I got used to it. It felt like the motor was topped out at 5500 and I was short shifting, esp. after my big block Chevy would go over 7 and I would...
That car sounds crisp to me. My hiccup was a real lay-down, stumble, fumble then back on full motor type of thing. BTW what is the thought behind the stock links making that noise? Bushings shot from the hard running?
