i had that very same thought. Id like to avoid buying a transmission jack for this job.
I bought one (addon for my Napa floor jack).
Biggest PITA, useless, cumbersome thing I've ever paid money for...
As long as you secure the jig to your floor jack so it won't slip/tip, this really is a pretty easy task.
If anything is challenging it's the access to the bolts and removing the axles, but even that wasn't hard.
It took me the better part of a day to do, but only because I kept stopping to clean stuff (that wasn't really dirty to begin with).
OCD can be a bitch sometimes.
