Even on most K/N aftermarket performance filters (looked at my motorcycle and car) if you hold them up to the sun you can literally see small holes in the cloth media the size of a pin head or bigger. A particle or particles that can pass through that hole can score a wall without a doubt, and...
That totally sucks. Sorry you're going through that after all the trouble, expense, and work to improve it. I'm not really sure what your doing here though. Are you cutting down the lobes(lengthwise) to fit better in the case with the old FAS plate or are you turning down the bearing journals...
That is good info but the can says treats 10 gals. So at 19 gal our Challengers would need two ($44 or almost 2) at a fill up. You use one in a tank and have that success your showing? (1890 millivolt down to 1300 on knock sensors) or you add to 1/2 tank @10 gals.?
Love this fu$%&*$ car! And I'm not a wide body fan. Still doesn't mean I'm voti'n for ya'. Not fair you just bought it that way. :p . Saw one in B5 locally for full MSRP of 85K or 88K? and another on line in your color combo. Even with discounts, just out of my reach / comfort zone. I'm real...
Agree with both. Even if this story is true, if it was written before full effect of pandemic you can push those dates back. Different priorities (right now) for consumers and corporations.
??? Is that because each tuner is in a diff state at diff altitudes, or just each of you guys has personal preferences or parameters and what you like? I thought you guys were all working together and sharing info to come up with the best combos of tunes and all offering the same packages but...
I know, I'm actually contemplating swapping mine out for the OTC one. This whole corona things a little dicey, so I'm kinda' waiting on changing/adding a few things and spending money.
Holy mackerel that SRT spoiler is expensive! Last year it was 695 and I thought that was a lot. My car was a 2019 almost leftover (got it at end of Dec. 2019) and came with the standard spoiler so that was not even an issue, but I was pricing cars so I noticed.
@moparjim,
@coolblue Chevy had a 400 cid small block
That is true, but it was always referred to as a 400 small block and was a POS in stock form. It was a bastardized version of a 400 c.i. engine. They shortened the rods (from standard SB) and cut the heads on the rod bolts half off, to clear...
Agree with this statement but there is a caveat. The hemi chamber is not efficient at low rpm. Wing that baby into the stratosphere and its plenty efficient. There's no quench area so low rpm torque isn't that great (esp. on the old carbureted hemis) That's why they added edges to the chamber...
