I heard two things about the 3:09's. Have no real-world experience myself (have 2:62's and car's not even broken in). One thing, they make noise. The other is, when you let fly at max rpm the computer can't keep up with the rpm climb and the 1 -2 shift gets a little janky. DK how true these...
I actually saw that on another thread, about the need to use the actual seat belt buckle. I believe it was @DRAGRCR who posted it. I didn't understand why. Thanks for the response.
What is the rim width and offset that gets that 335 in there. I know you have the Philips flares, but they're not rubbing on the inside? or hitting the quarter panel rear wheelwell lip? I love a fat ass and those 335's look like Jaylo wear'n a thong and lettin' the fat show. LOL
Who's rims you using and what offset? Those are exact replicas of my RE rims and would match perfect. Also those tires are Nitto's correct? @Blkout, as I have read elsewhere, said they run a little narrow so maybe that's why the success. BTW don't want to steal the thread but how's the King Kong...
I remember you talking about COT when you lost the motor. I also remember when you said you set lambda at .83. It stuck in my head and I googled lambda and started to read about it. BUT I always thought gasoline stoich was 14.7 (which 14.7 x .83 = 12.20 A/F ratio) but maybe I was doing A/F...
Again, I understand the ratio of A/F ratio of gas to the value of 1 the best. Have never even played with the other fuels but I get the ratio's. Like A/F of 12.8 (gas) is 87.4% of the "1" lambda (i.e. the most efficient 14.7 A/F combustion ratio for fuel) . I don't have HP tuners or DS but will...
That concept does make it easier to comprehend it, but when I was reading they were giving it an arbitrary number of 1,then adjusting off that number . But is that value different for all fuels? Like does each fuel have it's own value of one to adjust from? Don't want to take up your night. I'll...
Thanks for the link. I've read a little about lambda (googled it) and am still trying to wrap my mind around it. AFR is still clearer to me right now but I'm getting it. Oh and nice pic. Now that's what a WB should be. LOL
I was driving the other day to put some break in miles on the RE. While I was futsi'n around with the tabs, knobs, and diff modes ( I'm still learning to use all this stuff, I literally don't know what half the sh&^ does or works). I noticed the A/F ratio was what seamed real rich to me , 13.6...
@JRabq I remember when that movie came out. I was watching it with my friend and his wife. He was a hunter and a car guy. When that seen played he was hysterical. I never saw him laugh so hard in my life. He had tears coming out his eyes and couldn't breath.
If 6-13 is the seat belt what is 5-12, 4-11, 2-9. Also, they show 3.3 ohm except 2-9. Is that 653 ohm or 6.53 or 65.3? And is seat belt also 3.3ohm?
Thanks for showing this info and plug schematic. (y)
I'm not a computer or stereo guy, but looking at the side by side comparison and wattage diff, that looks like a huge step up. Like SXT to Hellcat step up.
Boring as this sounds, I put some miles on her today. We do a benefit/charity for one of the animal shelters way out east on Long Island. We did the benefit (which my wife completely does almost herself) and then came home. My wife says " I forgot the original sign with the charity name on it...
